Our latest meeting (8th May 2025) was a fun learning experience for us all. Evaluation is a cornerstone of the ASC approach and is one of the most important roles you will undertake on your speaking journey. So, we concentrated on evaluation – following competition rules – for the entire meeting.
Three club members – Richard, Justin & Paulette – took on the challenge to evaluate the same speech (beautifully delivered by Saima) – each having just 10 minutes after the speech ended to craft their evaluation. They were all fantastic! But the nature of competition means there can only be 1 winner and our judges awarded this accolade to Justin – for the enthusiastic encouragement, accurate analysis and clear construction of his evaluation. Well deserved, Justin!
